Clinic Switcher

The Clinic switcher in the top bar lets users change their active clinic when they have access to more than one clinic.

What the switcher does

  • shows the current clinic in the header
  • lists available clinics assigned to the user
  • switches the active clinic immediately after selection

How to switch clinics

  1. Open the clinic dropdown in the top bar.
  2. Select the clinic you want to work in.
  3. Wait for the Switching... status to finish.

After the change, dashboards, appointments, inventory, billing, and reports update to the selected clinic context.

When to use this

Use the clinic switcher when:

  • working across multiple branches
  • reviewing reports for another clinic
  • creating staff, appointments, or invoices in a different clinic context

Important note

Always confirm the active clinic before scheduling appointments, receiving purchases, or posting invoices. Many records are saved against the current clinic.
