The Clinic Settings page controls clinic-level defaults for consultations, appointments, billing tax behavior, and product tax rules.
What users can do here

Clinical and appointment defaults
Clinic teams can set:
- default weight unit:

CorF - slot duration for consultation, vaccination, surgery, grooming, follow-up, and emergency appointments
These defaults affect day-to-day scheduling and consultation entry.
Communication channels
Clinic settings can include channel setup for:

Use these settings when your clinic sends reminders, document links, or follow-up messages through SMS or WhatsApp.
Each channel can show whether it is enabled or off. Clinic administrators can update the provider details and use Send Test to confirm that the channel is working before relying on it for client communication.
Email is used as a separate communication channel when email is available for the client. If a client is not receiving messages, first confirm that the correct email address or phone number is saved on the client record.
Billing preferences
The page supports two tax modes:
Tax ExclusiveTax Inclusive
Use the mode that matches how your clinic stores product and service prices.
Tax setup tools
If tax features are enabled, the page can also manage:
- tax groups
- tax records
- product-level tax overrides
- bulk category or product-type rules
- tax-map CSV export and import
Product tax rules
Use product rules when a product needs a tax treatment that differs from the normal clinic default.
The page supports:
- product search by name, SKU, or barcode
- sale or purchase tax context
- bulk rules by category or product type
- review of active product overrides
Best practice
Only change tax settings when the clinic has confirmed billing rules, because these settings affect product pricing, POS, quotations, and invoices.
For communication channels, send a test message after changing SMS or WhatsApp settings and review the Communication page if delivery fails.
